Import a video you already recorded

Drop any video file into CueClip to transcribe it and use auto-edit, captions and export on footage from your phone, camera or another recorder.

Updated 2026-10-10

Add a file

  1. Choose File → Upload File… (⌘O), or drag a video onto the CueClip window.
  2. CueClip creates a project and transcribes the audio.
  3. When the transcript appears, the editing tools on the right are ready.

Phone footage, including iPhone HDR video, works. Podcasts and long recordings work too, and the transcript is what makes them fast to edit.

Where projects live

Every project appears on the home screen. Open one to pick up where you left off. Choose File → Save to save, or File → Back to Projects to return to the list.

Questions
