Edit your video by editing the transcript

Select words in the transcript and delete them to cut the video. Search, split and undo like a text document.

Cut by deleting words

Select words or a whole passage in the transcript on the left.
Click Cut in the floating toolbar, or press Delete, to remove them. The toolbar also offers Edit, New Composition and Export.
The matching section disappears from the video and the timeline.

Press ⌘F to search the transcript. Clicking any word moves the playhead there, which is the fastest way to find the section you want to change.

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes. Use Edit → Undo, or click the cut section to restore it.
